Cakes built
around your
occasion.

Every cake here starts as a conversation — the number of guests, the flavour the family actually likes, the colours of the day. Nothing comes out of a display case. It is baked for you, decorated by hand, and finished the morning you collect it.

What we do

Celebration cakes, wedding tiers, dessert tables.

Most of what leaves the kitchen is a birthday cake — one tier or two, a flavour the birthday person has asked for by name, and a design that means something to them rather than a generic printout. We do a lot of first birthdays, graduations, baby showers and send-offs.

Weddings are the other half of the work. Tiered cakes, usually two to four tiers, designed alongside your colours and your flowers, with a tasting before we commit to anything. We can also build a dessert table around the cake — cupcakes, cake pops, mini tarts — so guests who don't want cake still get something.

And then the everyday orders: a small cake for an office leaving do, a batch of cupcakes for a school event, a slab cake cut into squares for a church function. Those matter as much as the big ones.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. Tell us the occasion

Send the date, the number of guests, and anything you already know — flavours you like, colours, a photo you've saved. If you only know the date, that's enough to start.

  2. We quote and sketch

You get a price and a rough design back, usually within a day. We'll suggest sizes that actually feed your guest count rather than upselling you a tier you don't need.

  3. Confirm with a deposit

A deposit books your date in the calendar. We'll agree the final design and flavour at this point, and tell you exactly when the balance is due.

  4. Collect or have it delivered

Cakes are finished the morning of your event. Collect from the kitchen, or we deliver within Nairobi — tiered cakes travel better with us than in a car boot.

Good to know

Questions we get asked most.

How far in advance should I order?

Five days is comfortable for a standard celebration cake. For weddings and anything with more than two tiers, two to three weeks is better — and if your date falls in December or around a long weekend, ask early because the calendar fills.

Can I taste before I commit?

Yes, for wedding orders. We arrange a tasting box of the flavours you're considering, and we'll talk through the design at the same time. For smaller cakes, we're happy to tell you honestly which flavours hold up best in Nairobi's heat.

Do you deliver?

We deliver within Nairobi. Tiered and heavily decorated cakes are delivered by us rather than sent by courier, because they need to stay level and cool. Smaller orders can be collected from the kitchen — we'll give you the address and a time window once your order is confirmed.

What about allergies and dietary needs?

Tell us at the quoting stage, not the day before. We can work around most requirements, but the kitchen handles nuts, dairy, gluten and eggs, so we can't promise a completely allergen-free environment. If that's a hard requirement for a guest, say so and we'll be straight with you about what we can and can't do.

How should I store and serve it?

Fresh cream and buttercream cakes go in the fridge and come out about an hour before serving so the crumb softens. Fondant cakes are happier somewhere cool and dry rather than refrigerated. We include written notes with every order.

Contact

Ask us anything.

Not ready to order, or not sure what you need yet? Send a message and it comes straight to us. Questions about whether a design is possible, how far ahead to book, delivery to a particular venue, or what a cake for a specific number of guests would cost — all of it is welcome.

We answer enquiries ourselves, usually within a day. If your event is close, say so in the message and we'll come back to you first.
